Pregnancy | Prenatal Chiropractic

You’re growing a tiny human from scratch, you deserve to be supported and cared for!

Dr. Dani has NUMEROUS certifications in prenatal care, rehab, and exercise to help guide you through this unique and special time of life. One of which is Webster Technique which has been shown to improve birth outcomes and encourage optimal fetal positioning. BCR is different from other chiro clinics, offering a unique combination of longer appointments, adjustments, bodywork, dry needling (option), exercise modifications, and personalized rehab exercise recommendations. I can promise it will be the most thorough chiro appointment you’ve ever had.

“Dr Dani is amazing. She was so patient, gave me a ton of details on what the issue was, what could cause it, and how to fight it. It was by far the most well rounded experience I've had with a chiro and I really enjoyed her bedside manner, the experience, and am feeling much better!!”

Each appointment is individually tailored to decrease and/or prevent pregnancy discomfort, support birth, and ease you into postpartum!

“Dr. Dani is amazing, she is so much more than a chiropractor! She has been such a gift to our family - through pregnancy, postpartum and care for our infant daughter. She has a whole body approach, and her adjustments are both gentle & effective. I can’t recommend Dr. Dani enough!”

“I can't say enough good things about Dr Dani. She came to my house when I wasn't able to walk outside due to SI joint dysfunction in my second trimester. I have seen everyone you can think of over the past two years -- everyone -- acupuncturist, many regular PT types, pelvic floor therapist, spinal surgeons, etc, and Dr. Dani helped me have an important breakthrough to where I'm able to get through the pregnancy.”

Webster Technique

Webster Technique is a specific treatment that uses a combination of LIGHT adjusting and bodywork to decrease asymmetry and correct pelvic imbalances. Tension within these areas can impact the pull on the uterus, tailbone, pelvis, and other important structures involved in the birth process. Dr. Dani incorporates Webster Technique into her full body approach at each visit from the start of care.

Webster Technique is most successful if started by 32 weeks.

Exercise Modification During Pregnancy

With so many opinions on what is and what is not safe during pregnancy, Dr. Dani follows research and clinical experience to help guide women through working out during pregnancy. With her background in Olympic lifting and Crossfit, she believes that modifications can keep you (and baby) safe while still doing the things you love. General statements such as no lifting over 25lbs or “stick to yoga or the pool” are old school and women deserve more.

I’ve done the heavy lifting on the research side so you can continue to safely and confidently lift through pregnancy.

Birth and Postpartum Education

With pregnancy comes birth and postpartum, so why not prepare for each to the best of our abilities? Working on skills that prepare us for birth as well as beginning some basics during pregnancy to help make a few postpartum skills and movements just a bit easier and automatic are HUGELY helpful in providing a momma some power and feelings of at least a little bit of control during this phase!

Birth and postpartum care are all about education, support, and empowerment.
